Your challenge:

Hanwha Q CELLS is looking for an international Business Development Manager (m/f/d) to help support the company’s growth in the EPC segment in Europe, especially in Southern Europe (e.g. Italy) and support its development activities with its affiliate companies as well. 

Your responsibilities:Your qualifications:
  • You identify project opportunities with prospective partners.
  • You acquire pv projects at different development stages.
  • You manage the development process for secured projects from initial acquisition through to contract signing.
  • You communicate with external stakeholders such as project owners to initiate and develop projects jointly.
  • You contribute to the development and implementation of the department’s strategy through the introduction and evaluation of new innovative business models.
  • You are responsible for the financial costs analysis of potential projects to ensure they are in line with target investment criteria.
  • You manage all local ICP and DNO activities if required.
  • You negotiate all commercial terms and resulting legal contracts related to a project acquisition and/or EPC e.g. EPC Contracts, Share Purchase Agreements and PPA contracts.
  • You support the Head of Business Development with other tasks as required.
  • You have successfully completed your studies in business administration or a similar discipline and can ideally look back on several years of experience in this field.
  • Ideally you have worked at either a wind or solar developer in the past and have delivered several distributed generation projects.
  • You are interested in large-scale ground mounted PV and renewable energy in general.
  • You are characterized by a systematic, analytical approach and goal orientation.
  • We require strong written and verbal skills as the role involves the preparation of written reports and liaison stakeholders.
  • You have strong commercial acumen and presence and are comfortable representing the company and its values.
  • You enjoy to work in a team and have a very good ability to organize.
  • We require a willingness to travel. 
  • You have very good MS Office skills.
  • Business-fluent spoken and written English and Italian skills complete your profile. German or other language skills are an advantage.
